Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded is the next major update for multiplayer and Zombies, bringing a new weapon, map, modes, and more.
Although Black Ops 7 arrives on November 14, there’s still plenty of content coming to Black Ops 6. The Season 5 Reloaded update is up next, and we also expect there to be a Season 6 to tide us over until the next game’s launch.
We already know some of the content that will arrive, so here’s when we expect it to start and everything we know about it.
Expected Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded start date
Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded is expected to start on either September 4 or September 11.
CoD seasons typically last eight weeks, so September 4 would be the usual mid-season point, but Season 5 is scheduled to last 9 weeks, ending on October 9. This is likely because of the Black Ops 7 beta, which runs from October 2 to October 8.
New Revolver weapon & Scorestreak
The Gravemark .357 Revolver arrives in the mid-season update through the Hell Ride LTM.
This eight-shooter single-action revolver is described as having “high power and considerable range, limited by lower ammo count and segmented reload.”
While it has a “moderate fire rate,” you can improve its rate of fire with the Rapid Fire attachment and keep it under control with Recoil Springs. Also, it can be used dual-wield with the Akimbo attachment.
Plus, the Combat Bow Scorestreak hits multiplayer and Zombies, which fires explosive arrows that deal incendiary damage to nearby enemies.
Black Ops 4-inspired map
The 6v6 Jackpot map arrives in Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded, and the devs said it uses “elements of the original ‘Casino’ map from Black Ops 4.”
While it’s very similar to the original map, Beenox have “extensively reworked the map with new layout sections and artistic direction.” You’ll see elements from the High Rollers mission from the BO6 campaign here.
New modes
Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded brings three more modes: Cranked Demolition, Ransack, and Blueprint Gunfight.
Cranked Demolition is a brand-new mode that does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s Demolition with Cranked mechanics, so you’ll need to chain eliminations to stay alive.
Ransack is a returning mode where you have to collect gold bars from around the map and from dead enemies, then deposit them in your team’s deposit box. It first arrived in BO6 Season 1 and returns in S5 Reloaded.
Finally, Blueprint Gunfight also returns, where you play Gunfight while using a variety of different weapon Blueprints.
The mid-season update brings Directed Mode for the Reckoning main story Easter egg and the Team Cranked LTM.
If you haven’t completed the Reckoning Easter egg yet, this makes it much easier by telling you where to go and introducing round limits so things don’t get overwhelming. If you complete it before Season 5 Reloaded, you’ll get an exclusive Calling Card.
Team Cranked also returns, adding Cranked mechanics to Zombies. Once someone in your squad kills a Zombie, you’ll need to keep killing enemies to stop the 30-second timer from counting down. Each new round brings the max time down by a second, so it’ll keep getting faster-paced and more difficult.
New events
The Hell Ride and Atomic Block Party events arrive in Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded.
Hell Ride “Operators to save the day from a ticking time bomb” and is where you’ll unlock the new Revolver weapon, while Atomic Block Party is a “Nuketown-inspired event full of rewards”. We’ll know more about how these events work and the rewards nearer the time.
